Quest
Recipient of the PA Parks and Recreation Society Excellence in Programming Award!
Summer Quest: Quest is scheduled Monday thru Thursday and generally meets 9 am to 2 pm unless a trip is scheduled. Quest is offered for five or six weeks . If registering for 5 weeks only, the week off must be scheduled in advance. Daily activities are scheduled with participants input and interests in mind. Participants enjoy extensive trips, special guests, arts & crafts, an end of the summer dance party, sports & much more! For those long distance trips, campers will travel in comfortable coach buses.
Extended Quest: Now working parents of Quest age children can have peace of mind. All the benefits of the regular Quest program with early opening, late closing and FRIDAYS!! Daily trips to the pool, special Friday events and trips will be scheduled. Extended Quest is only offered at Welch Elementary School for the full 6 weeks.
Quest and Swim: Extend your child's Quest experience with supervised afternoons at the Northampton Valley Country Club. On days when there are shorter trips or no trips at all, your child will be bussed to the Country Club. Available at all sites. Parent pickup will be at the Country Club promptly at 5:00 PM.
General Information
- Registration is Now Being Accepted for 2010 Summer Quest Camps
- Camp Registration is ONGOING
- In order to register online, your family must be registered as a “household”. To do so click on “Create New Account” on the top left-hand corner of the homepage and follow the prompts to open a new household. Make sure the children you wish to register are entered as “household members.”
- Registrations are accepted online, 24 hours/day, in person at the Township Administration Building (8:30 AM – 4:30 PM-Monday thru Friday) or at the Recreation Center (8:30 AM – 8:00 PM-Monday thru Friday…Saturday & Sunday hours vary due to the program schedule.
- A $300 deposit is required at the time of registration. Payment can be made in full, or you can pay into your balance as frequently as you wish.
- Failure to make full payment by May 16, 2010 will result in additional charges.
- All deposits are refundable in full until March 15, 2010, less $10 for processing.
- After March 15th, your deposit will not be refunded unless your spot is filled by another participant.
- Registration is accepted for 5 or 6 weeks only, whether or not you attend the full 5 or 6 weeks.
- The trip schedule will be sent when it is confirmed, usually after May 1st.
- Registration for non-residents will be accepted only if space is available.
