This seven week program offers intramural sports, arts and crafts and weekly theme days.
The 2010 Playground Program will be held at Richboro and Hillcrest Elementary Schools.
Rolling Hills Elementary will be the site of other camp programs offered by Northampton Township Parks and Recreation.
Playground Program with Extended Hours
(for children entering 1st thru 6th grade)
Back for it’s second year!!! Expand your child’s Playground Program experience! This popular program joins the Playground Program in the morning and then has even more fun in the afternoon – swimming on Tuesdays and Thursdays, Monday visits to local businesses and services, more extensive trips and special Friday lunches!
Weekly trips are offered at an additional fee.
General Information
- Registration is Now Being Accepted for 2010 Summer Playground Program Camp & Extended Playground Program Camp
- Registration is for Northampton Residents Only
- Camp Registration is ONGOING
- In order to register online, your family must be registered as a “household”. To do so click on “my household login area” on the top left-hand corner of the homepage (www.northamptonrec.com) and follow the prompts to open a new household. Make sure the children you wish to register are entered as “household members.”
- Registrations are accepted online, 24 hours/day, in person at the Township Administration Building (8:30 AM – 4:30 PM-Monday thru Friday) or at the Recreation Center (8:30 AM – 8:00 PM-Monday thru Friday…Saturday & Sunday hours vary due to the program schedule.
- A $300 deposit is required at the time of registration for the Extended Playground Program. A $100 deposit is required at the time of registration for the regular Playground Program. Payment can be made in full, or you can pay into your balance as frequently as you wish.
- Failure to make full payment by May 16, 2010 will result in additional charges.
- All deposits are refundable in full until March 15, 2010, less $10 for processing.
- After March 15th, your deposit will not be refunded unless your spot is filled by another participant.
- Registration is accepted for the full 7 weeks only, whether or not you attend the full 7 weeks.
- Weekly trips are available at an additional cost and the schedule will be sent when it is confirmed, usually after May 1st.
- Registration for non-residents will be accepted only if space is available.
- If the program is full and you wish to be put on the waiting list, please call 215-357-6800, ext. 249.
- If you have additional questions, please call the Recreation Center at 215-357-5396 or the Administration Office at 215-357-6800, ext. 249, Monday thru Friday, 8:30AM – 4:30 PM.
Swimming after Camp
- Add swimming to your child's playground experience.
- One day per week your child will be bussed from their playground site to the Northampton Valley Country Club, in Richboro to enjoy an afternoon of swimming. Parent pickup will be at the Northampton Valley Country Club at 3:30 PM
- Hillcrest: Day: Tuesdays
- Richboro: Day: Thursdays
- Fee: $95.00 (Includes bus transportation and supervision - pack your lunch or purchase lunch at the pool)
