Northampton Township Parks and Recreation is sponsoring two great trips this
fall and two must see shows this winter.
General Information
- A 49 passenger motorcoach provides comfortable transportation.
- If minimum registration is not met one month in advance, the trip may be cancelled.
- All meals are on your own.
- All children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by parent or another adult.

Hershey Candylane & Sweet Lights Trip

The magic of the holidays comes to life at Hersheypark Christmas Candylane. With a million twinkling lights, rides for all ages, festive decorations, and Hershey's Product Characters decked out in their holiday best, there is something for all to enjoy! Sing-along with a heart-warming Christmas show, visit Santa's reindeer, and browse quaint village shops. Christmas Candylane features many attractions for guests of all ages including over 30 rides including the family-favorite, Twilight Express. Experience N.O.E.L., a breathtaking light show featuring over 125,000 dancing lights synchronized to your favorite toe-tapping, jingle-rocking Christmas music!
A motorcoach bus will leave from the Northampton Township Admin. parking lot at 10:00am arriving at Hershey, Pa. approx. noon. You will be on your own to explore the festive, holiday excitement. At 5pm you will board the bus to experience a winter wonderland as you start your journey home at Hershey Sweet Lights, a Holiday Drive-Thru Spectacular. Enjoy nearly 600 illuminated, animated displays from the comfort of the bus as you drive through two miles of wooded trails. After the drive thru light show, the bus will depart for the return to Richboro. All meals will be on your own. * additional shows at your own expense.

New York City Bus Trip

Northampton Township Administration Bldg-side parking lot 55 Township Road, Richboro
RETURN: approx. 7:00 P.M.
COST: $38.00 PER PERSON (Transportation Only)
All children under 18 years of age must be accompanied
by parent or other adult.
The motorcoach will leave from the Northampton Admin Bldg. parking lot at 9:15 A.M. Drop off will be near two locations: * 34th & Broadway (Macy's, Fashion District & Madison Square Garden) or *48th & Broadway- (Times Square/Theater District, Rockefeller Center, Fifth Ave shopping). Upon arrival in New York City, you will be on your own to explore all the Big Apple has to offer: World Class Shopping, Theater, Museums, Soho, South Street Seaport, Little Italy, Greenwich Village, or any of the many, restaurants and attractions in this vibrant City. Bus will be departing at 5:00 PM from one location ONLY in Midtown near 48th & Broadway. (You will be advised of exact location prior to your trip departure. ) ALL attractions, meals & tickets, as well as any additional transportation costs ( bus, taxi, subway) are on your own.

Winterthur, the 1,000- acre country estate of Henry Francis DuPont (1880 - 1969), encompasses rolling hills, streams, meadows, and forests. Experience 175 rooms, furnished with exquisite antiques, where the Du Ponts entertained in grand style. Explore exhibits, the Winterthur Library, 60 acre garden, and the enchanted children's fairy tale woods. A motorcoach bus will leave from Northampton Township Admin. parking lot at 8:30 am arriving at Wilmington, Delaware approx. 10 am. You will experience a 1 hr. introductory tour, explore special exhibits, magnificent country/museum, magnificent gardens and garden tram. Lunch will be on your own. A cafe' Restaurant is available on the garden grounds for your dining or you may bring a picnic lunch. *
