Hockey - Youth Floor Hockey

Floor Hockey - Ages 5 - 16 Years Old - A stick, sneakers, pads, helmet and set of team shirts is all you need.  No Skates!

After the skills clinic on Saturday, January 11th (see below for more info), each week will begin with a 15-minute practice followed by a game.

AGES: 5 - 8 -- GAME TIMES: 8:00 - 9:15 AM, 9:15 - 10:30 AM, 10:30-11:45 AM

AGES: 8 - 12 -- GAME TIMES: 11:45 - 1:00 PM, 1:00 - 2:15 PM, 2:15-3:30 PM

AGES:12 - 16 -- GAME TIME:  3:30 - 4:45 PM

Mites League (5 - 8 years-old) participants will be placed on a team based on age and skill level.

Pee Wee League (8 - 12 years-old) participants will be drafted to teams.

Teen League (12-16 years-old) will be pick-up hockey.

* 8 & 12 year-olds are eligible to participate in either or both leagues that include their age group.


Required equipment:  Helmet with cage, hockey gloves, elbow pads, hockey shin guards and a stick.  Each player must wear an official home/away shirt as designated for each game.

For players who do not already have a pair of official home & away shirts, an additional $22 is due by the start of the first game for the shirts.  Players that wish to have personalized home & away shirts with the player’s name and choice of number (for a charge of $25 instead of $22) MUST submit their request (complete with shirt size and name & number as they will appear on the shirts) by December 31st.

Mites and Pee Wee participants who did NOT play in the 2013 Fall league are asked to attend a skills clinic on Saturday, January 11 (time TBA).  Everyone else will receive a schedule and roster information soon after the skills clinic.  The first game for everyone will be on January 25th.

Players will have fun and develop their hockey and team-sports skills, and awards will be presented at the end of the season.

  • Early Resident Savings –(ERS) Northampton Residents registering at least one week prior to the start date of the program will pay the Early Resident Savings Fee (ERS). The ERS fee is not listed below, but will appear during the checkout process. Mail in registrations must be postmarked at least one week prior to the start of the class in order to receive this savings.
