Casting Call: Acting for The Camera

Ages 8-15

This class is for the aspiring young "stars" in your household.  Learn real auditioning skills by working with scripts for commercials and film readings.  Your child will learn how to characterize and follow direction, block for camera and read with the "co-stars".  Improvisation and ad-libbing (off the script) will be taught as a basis of creating characters and trusting instincts.  One of the quickest ways to gain experience in this industry is by doing "extra" work otherwise known as a "Background Artists".  It will help open up doors of opportunity to the next level.  Included in this class is a take-home tutorial showing you ways to find acting jobs as well as a list of legitimate talent agencies.  Students are permitted to record some of their performances on their smart phones.  On the final class day, parents are invited to view on-camera performances of their child.
