"Wow Factor" Science Experiments

This new workshop is taught by a certified science teacher and is designed to excite and motivate the aspiring scientist. Campers will get experience using laboratory tools, measuring devices, safety equipment, a microscope and safe household chemicals. Chemistry, biology, physics, geology, criminology and oceanography experiments will be included. Participants will bring home an equipment kit, a certificate of accomplishment, and a lab manual so they can recreate the experiments at home. Campers should bring a snack and wear an old shirt (because some science can be messy). (Ages 4-11 years).  Children under 6 should be accompanied by an adult partner. A materials fee of $20 is payable to the instructor on the first day of class.  Goggles provided by instructor.
