We are moving the game from the gym to the court this season.  Join us weekends at the Northampton Municipal Park for 5 on 5 Adult Street Hockey.  **All plans, policies, schedules and rules are tentative and subject to change based on any change in conditions, including COVID-19 exposure or infection, weather and local, state and national guidelines or restrictions.**Teams4 teams maximum5 on 5 with 11 players (max per team) Schedule (subject to changes as described)Scrimmage/Season: 9/19-10/24, Saturdays or Sundays, Times TBDPlayoffs: 10/31-11/7 All games will be played on the Township’s outdoor court, located at the Northampton Municipal Park at 281 Hatboro Rd in Churchville.  Games will have three 15-minute periods. For regular season games, a 5-minute OT will be played in the case of a tie. If there is no scoring during the OT, the game will end in a tie with each team receiving one point. (There are no shootouts.) Scheduled game start times may be delayed due to inclement weather or water, ice, snow or debris on the courts (at Commissioner’s sole determination). A fun and highly instructional introduction to baseball for 3-5 year old boys and girls.  Players learn the basics of throwing, catching, fielding, batting, and base running, and then apply what they have learned in fun, non-competitive games.  Sessions are one hour long, one day per week, and include all the instruction and game play in one outing.  Jump Start Sports staff coaches provide all instruction.  Players receive a Major League Baseball hat, team tee shirt and award.Required equipment - Baseball GloveDepending on Registration Numbers, Games/Sessions will be either from 5:30-6:30PM or 6:30-7:30 PM.  Schedules will be provided prior to first class.Need a glove to go along with your gear?  Support Parks and Rec and click the link below!

Beginner Dog Training. Positive reinforcement based techniques will be taught using food, toys and affection as a reward. This group course will cover topics such as eye contact, position changes (sit, down and stand), leash skills, come/recall, house training and so much more! Each dog should be at least 2 months old, accompanied by an adult (18+) and we highly recommend all age appropriate Vaccines be administered prior to your first class (please check with your Veterinarian for guidance). Older dogs welcome. For regular season games, a 5-minute OT will be played in the case of a tie. If there is no scoring during the OT, the game will end in a tie with each team receiving one point. Saturday games also may be pushed to Sunday, or to the following week, due to inclement weather or water, ice, snow or debris on the courts (at Commissioner’s sole determination). Rain delays and cancellations will be posted on Facebook.  It will be the responsibility of the captain to make sure players on their team are aware of any delay or cancellation.   In the case of one or two games that must be postponed for a full week, the playoffs may be pushed back either to 11/14 or 11/21 (at Commissioner’s sole determination). Multiple postponements may result in cancelled games, and those games will not be made up. Players must follow all federal, state and Township guidelines and rules regarding health and safety, including wearing masks while not playing and maintaining distance of at least six feet from others while not playing.  Spectators are prohibited from attending games or coming within 50 feet of the rink.Players may not arrive more than 15 minutes before their game and must leave immediately after their game (except goalies) Teams may be penalized or forfeit their season for violating any rules or guidelines, including any health and safety guidelines.  Season may be canceled due to safety concerns at the discretion of the Commissioner and/or Northampton Township. No credits or refunds, partial or full, will be given for any reason, including any forfeited, delayed or cancelled games or seasons. Beginner Dog Training. Positive reinforcement based techniques will be taught using food, toys and affection as a reward. This group course will cover topics such as eye contact, position changes (sit, down and stand), leash skills, come/recall, house training and so much more! Each dog should be at least 2 months old, accompanied by an adult (18+) and we highly recommend all age appropriate Vaccines be administered prior to your first class (please check with your Veterinarian for guidance). Older dogs welcome.
